📋 Description

• Support the financial health and strategy of the Management Services Organization (MSO), including capital deployment processes • Support financial modeling for mergers and acquisitions and monitor deal synergies and dis-synergies • Strengthen operations through financial governance and standardized integration processes • Develop and execute the MSO financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals • Provide financial analysis and guidance to MSO leadership for strategic decisions and long-term planning • Partner with executive leadership to identify growth, cost optimization, and operational improvement opportunities • Serve as financial business partner for business units, local FP&A, contracting, and initiatives • Standardize MSO financial processes and reporting, including forecasting and practice-level insights • Partner with MSO CFOs on budgets, forecasts, and financial models • Monitor financial performance, trends, risks, opportunities, profitability, efficiency, and resource allocation • Advance commercial finance platform structure and optimize center versus therapeutic-area activities • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including revenue cycle management, billing, and collections • Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk • Support financial integration of new MSOs and post-merger integration activities • Identify acquisition targets, assess targets and market trends, and create M&A deal models and synergy cases • Conduct financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation support • Consolidate systems, align policies, track synergy realization, and prepare leadership reports and presentations • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, financial reporting standards, and applicable laws • Identify and manage financial risks and collaborate with legal and compliance teams on requirements and audits • Advise MSO leadership and partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders • Represent the MSO in financial discussions with affiliated practices, vendors, and regulatory agencies • Build and lead a high-performing finance team and mentor and develop team members • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the finance team and organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required • Minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible experience • At least 2 years of management-level experience • Proven success in a healthcare or MSO environment • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, provider compensation models, and healthcare financial operations • Experience managing complex budgets, financial planning processes, and operational integration • Expertise in financial management principles, financial statement analysis, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis, and financial reporting • Expertise in financial planning software and applications • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other leaders • Strong leadership and influencing skills • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills • Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, or other data analytics platforms • Working understanding of AI, including Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude experience • An advanced degree or CPA designation is preferred
