📋 Description

• Own technology category strategies, roadmaps, sourcing execution, supplier segmentation, risk evaluation, and value engineering initiatives • Lead multi-year category planning and sourcing strategies aligned with business and technology requirements • Direct supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, contracting, and vendor performance management • Establish governance, controls, performance measures, and sourcing benefit realization • Act as sourcing business partner and single point of contact to assigned Technology senior leaders • Capture roadmap, budget, and demand signals 6 to 12 months ahead of requirements or renewals • Maintain demand, renewal, and pipeline forecasts and aggregate requirements across business units and regions • Own strategic vendor relationships, executive cadences, business reviews, roadmap alignment, and escalations • Lead enterprise-wide negotiations and structure master agreements, statements of work, service levels, subscriptions, licenses, renewals, and termination rights • Partner with Legal, Information Security, Privacy, Finance, and business leaders on contracts, risk, compliance, and value delivery • Manage supplier performance, financial, operational, cyber, continuity, and reputational risk • Track spend, build financial and ROI models, validate savings, and report realized value and category performance to senior leadership • Support sourcing requirements for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and integration activity • Implement sourcing and vendor-management policies, governance frameworks, process improvements, AI and automation, supplier diversity, ESG, and responsible sourcing practices • Strengthen procurement systems and analytics, including sourcing, contract lifecycle, and spend platforms • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a team of Director-level category owners and sourcing professionals • Manage team objectives, performance, coaching, workforce planning, resource allocation, and succession

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required • 12+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor management, including 6+ years in technology or data sourcing, or a related field required • 8+ years of experience in a management capacity, including experience leading managers or senior individual contributors • Track record negotiating and managing complex technology supplier contracts and portfolios of $100M+ in annual spend • Experience owning a technology category end to end within a category-based procurement or category management operating model • Advanced degree preferred • Experience leading teams through organizational or operating model change preferred • Experience in a Fortune 500 or similarly complex, large matrixed global organization preferred • Certification in procurement, supply management, or project management such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP preferred • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, outsourcing, and contract development across technology and data categories • Proven ability to build and own a multi-year category roadmap • Exceptional negotiation and contract optimization skills • Deep understanding of global sourcing practices, vendor management, compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks • Strong knowledge of technology supplier landscapes, licensing and consumption models, industry trends, and emerging technologies • Strong financial acumen, including complex cost structures and ROI models • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to lead change and drive cross-functional alignment across a global matrixed organization • Proficiency in procurement tools such as SAP Ariba or Coupa, contract lifecycle management systems, and data analytics platforms • Ability to establish spend baselines, category profiles, risk assessments, controls, performance measures, and KPI reporting • Proficiency in English for business communication across global stakeholders and suppliers
