📋 Description

• Support Ambetter membership forecasting and reporting • Develop predictive models, analytic frameworks, and data products for financial planning, pricing, and strategic decision-making • Translate market dynamics into actionable membership projections • Design, develop, validate, and maintain machine learning models, statistical models, and forecasting methodologies • Build and manage data assets, feature engineering pipelines, and analytical datasets • Conduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, market changes, and forecast-performance drivers • Design analysis tools to extract, analyze, and store data for business needs • Conduct exploratory data analysis from complex data sources and build key datasets supporting Centene’s mission • Evaluate and design experiments to monitor metrics and identify improvement opportunities • Develop mathematical and statistical models to distinguish relevant content or events and recognize patterns • Present research analysis and findings • Participate in designing automated operational analytics processes • Validate and measure health management program outcomes using SAS, R, and other tools • Manage multiple projects and assist with training Data Analysts • Liaise with technical teams on requirements gathering, documentation, testing, delivery, and user adoption • Communicate expectations to the Health Plan

🎯 Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Experimental Science with 5+ years of experience • OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience in data science capabilities • Experience in data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical modeling, large scale data acquisition, transformation, and structured and unstructured data analysis • Experience with database technologies, including Teradata, MS SQL Server, and Snowflake • Highly preferred: R, Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Posit, and JupyterHub • Experience using SAS, R, and other tools with provider, claims, and membership data • Knowledge of database technologies and analytical data workflows
