📋 Description

• Provide operational leadership, delivery execution, workforce management, and capability advancement for endpoint security capabilities • Ensure the enterprise endpoint security platform remains effective, scalable, measurable, and aligned to business risk reduction objectives • Manage the engineering team responsible for endpoint protection technologies, security policy implementation, platform health, operational readiness, and continuous improvement • Lead a team of endpoint security engineers • Establish priorities, sprint objectives, and operational work plans • Conduct performance evaluations, career development, coaching, and mentoring • Develop succession plans and reduce key-person dependency risks • Build a sustainable operating model that distributes ownership across the team • Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment • Ensure reliable operation of endpoint security platforms and services • Maintain operational readiness, support models, escalation paths, and runbooks • Manage engineering backlogs and technical debt initiatives • Monitor service health, platform coverage, policy effectiveness, and operational metrics • Drive consistent execution of security engineering processes • Advance endpoint security capabilities across prevention, detection, visibility, and control enforcement • Partner with Capability Stewards to develop multi-year capability roadmaps • Prioritize initiatives based on risk reduction, operational efficiency, and business value • Ensure new capabilities transition successfully into production operations • Provide operational leadership for EDR, malware prevention and antivirus, ASR, endpoint security policy management, telemetry, device compliance and coverage reporting, security tool health monitoring, and feature adoption • Manage endpoint security projects and strategic initiatives • Coordinate resources, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication • Partner with infrastructure, workplace technology, architecture, and security operations teams • Ensure projects achieve measurable business and security outcomes • Track operational risks and control effectiveness • Escalate issues requiring risk acceptance or executive decisions • Support audit, compliance, and control validation activities • Maintain documented standards, procedures, and engineering practices • Manage relationships with endpoint security vendors and service providers • Hold vendors accountable to contracted deliverables and service levels • Review performance metrics, roadmaps, and support effectiveness • Drive continuous improvement through vendor partnerships • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill • Direct engineering experience with enterprise endpoint security, endpoint management, or security enforcement platforms • Hands-on experience with at least some of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Trend Micro Cloud One, Microsoft Intune, Tanium Enforce, and Absolute • Strong people leadership and team development skills • Execution-focused management approach • Ability to balance operational support and strategic improvements • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience managing multiple concurrent security initiatives • Risk-based decision-making capability • Ability to translate technical issues into business impact discussions • Prior people-management experience with a record of strengthening team effectiveness, engagement, and development • Demonstrated success improving the reliability, maturity, or effectiveness of supported technologies and services • Ability to lead/manage others • Collaboration and team building skills • Ability to coach and deliver constructive feedback • Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management • Effective conflict management skills • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations • Demonstrated negotiation skills • Additional experience with Armis, Nexthink, Dynatrace, or Microsoft Entra is preferred
