• Manage the day-to-day implementation of Teaching Academy across an assigned portfolio of school and district partners • Ensure programming is executed in alignment with established expectations, timelines, and outcomes • Internalize curricula, program materials, and implementation expectations to support facilitators and partners • Execute annual program plans, calendars, milestones, and deliverables • Track site implementation and monitor curriculum, milestones, deliverables, program quality, health, and fidelity • Identify implementation gaps and challenges, surface them to leadership, and implement solutions with cross-functional teams • Maintain program documentation, trackers, implementation tools, and data systems • Collect and organize qualitative and quantitative program data for progress monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement • Manage and support an assigned portfolio of Teaching Academy facilitators • Facilitate Summer Training, implementation sessions, and ongoing professional learning experiences • Lead virtual coaching and professional learning sessions • Conduct site visits, observations, and coaching sessions and provide actionable instructional feedback • Provide year-round curriculum and implementation support to facilitators • Monitor facilitator progress and differentiate coaching based on facilitator and site needs • Support high school apprentices’ educator identity, Black liberatory mindsets, servant leadership, civic awareness, and readiness for post-secondary education and careers • Support apprentice transitions into additional CBED programs, including FSLA and FTEF, when available • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned school and district partners • Facilitate partner check-ins, communicate expectations and deliverables, and follow up on agreed actions • Troubleshoot routine implementation challenges and escalate significant risks or partnership issues • Support onboarding and implementation launches for new sites • Represent Teaching Academy in partner meetings, events, and external spaces as needed • Monitor program data and implementation trends and provide leadership with regular progress updates • Recommend improvements to tools, processes, resources, and implementation practices • Collaborate with Curriculum Design, Program Operations, Data & Evaluation, and other teams • Support special projects and program initiatives related to Teaching Academy implementation and growth
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in education, educator development, youth development, program implementation, or a related field • Experience supporting educational programming, school or district partnerships, or youth development initiatives strongly preferred • Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, or supporting educators or facilitators • Strong understanding of secondary education and the developmental needs of high school students • Experience with Career and Technical Education (CTE) or educator pathway programming is a plus • Strong project management and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple sites, timelines, deliverables, and priorities simultaneously • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate program documentation and data • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative information to identify trends, monitor progress, and surface implementation needs • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, and know when to escalate challenges or concerns • Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team • Willingness and ability to travel regularly, approximately 30%, to Teaching Academy sites and partner communities • Deep commitment to educational and racial justice, the development of Black educators, and the Center’s mission, vision, and core values
