📋 Description

• Review clinical documentation to code and post-surgery and hospital charges for insurance billing • Assist with CPT and ICD-10 coding • Maintain communication with the Team Lead and/or Supervisor • Maintain patient information according to confidentiality policy • Maintain compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements • Complete mandated training and in-services, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements • Work Accounts Receivable (AR) for ASC • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of AR, denial management and CPT/ICD10 coding • Minimum of three (3) years of related AR experience • Preferably one year of working with ASC claims • High School Graduate or equivalent • Minimum of three (3) years related AR or medical billing experience is required • Thorough knowledge of computer information systems • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality • Ability to comply with governmental and regulatory requirements • Ability to complete mandated training and in-services, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements • Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 25 pounds • Travel is primarily local during the business day, with possible out-of-area and overnight travel
