📋 Description
• Analyze and classify documents within the document management system • Index documents into patients’ electronic medical records (EMR) in digital formats • Process historical/acquisition documents/records or work in the Extract clerical icon as needed • Maintain a 99% accuracy rate and 95% productivity rate • Create encounters in the EMR system according to policy and procedure • Apply HIM policies and methods governing the verification process • Validate the authenticity of legal documents • Use advanced technology to eliminate printing and document redundancy • Apply critical thinking, independent judgment, and research skills to assess complex problems and adapt to changes • Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma required • Keyboarding and 10-key data entry skills • RHIA/RHIT preferred
