📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative automation capabilities supporting the Service Centre of the Future • Develop and manage large-scale capital engineering projects for automation, IoT, and continuous improvement solutions • Collaborate with Operations, Health & Safety, Finance, Quality, Global Automation, Regional Engineering, and external suppliers or partners • Prepare Capex documents, including cost estimates, project justifications, equipment layouts, project details, and technical specifications • Manage equipment installation, commissioning, equipment development, and Global Automation Technical Centre test schedules • Supervise contractors and partners while ensuring safety, environmental, and legislative compliance • Drive continuous improvement using AI, robotics, digital twin models, Industry 4.0, and other advanced technologies • Advance automation technologies from concept through proof-of-concept, pilot, and deployment readiness • Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and according to technical, quality, and safety requirements • Manage project budgets, forecasts, risks, scope, schedules, and stakeholder expectations • Develop operational documentation, including as-built drawings, manuals, and spare parts lists • Establish training materials and support knowledge transfer and technology adoption • Champion Zero Harm, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline • 5+ years of experience in automation, manufacturing engineering, robotics, controls engineering, or technology development • Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, Industrial IoT, AI/ML applications, digital twins, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), or smart factory initiatives • Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering or automation projects from concept through implementation • Experience evaluating, developing, and integrating emerging technologies within a manufacturing or service operations environment • Knowledge of industrial automation systems, including robotics, machine vision, PLCs, motion control, and automated material handling technologies • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex development challenges • Spanish, French, and/or German languages desirable • Master’s degree in engineering, Robotics, Automation, or related technical field desirable • Design for Six Sigma Black Belt desirable • Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable
