📋 Description

• Provide technical support to field services and customers involved in equipment maintenance. • Install, troubleshoot, analyze, and overhaul natural gas compression equipment. • Serve as the area expert on field service issues, troubleshooting, and field calls. • Provide technical assistance and operating instructions to customer personnel for ESP equipment. • Perform scheduled preventive and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression units. • Represent the Company professionally and provide outstanding customer service. • Submit accurate maintenance reports, expense reports, timesheets, and other required paperwork daily. • Manage inventory, including the supply, storage, and accessibility of parts and tools. • Diagnose engine and compressor failures accurately and efficiently. • Conduct rebuilds and overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls on gas compressor packages in the shop. • Respond to recurring problems and emergency service needs. • Help coordinate the setting of new units and conduct start-up testing. • Perform mechanical and electrical assignments related to natural gas compressor systems and appliances.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. • A minimum of one year in a vocational/ technical training or apprenticeship program is preferred. • Intermediate-level computer skills; working on a computer daily will be required. • Must have a Valid Driver’s License. • Proven knowledge of machines and tools, materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of compression units. • Ability to work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision. • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar; present numerical data effectively; read and interpret written information. • Ability to provide personal customer service and satisfaction, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction. • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, listen, and understand spoken information. • Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for actions, keep commitments, and complete tasks on time. • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions. • Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
