📋 Description

• Serve as the deep technical bridge between product strategy and engineering execution • Gather and document requirements and author granular technical specifications for engineering implementation • Own data models, integration specifications, API contracts, and edge case definitions • Write prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation • Participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, code walkthroughs, and pull request reviews • Create and maintain process flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, and data mapping documents • Define test strategies and author test plans and test cases • Lead User Acceptance Testing efforts • Perform complex data analysis to validate requirements, uncover edge cases, and support design decisions • Translate business requirements into technical language and technical constraints into business-understandable trade-offs • Identify risks related to requirements, integrations, data quality, and delivery scope; propose mitigations and escalate appropriately • Mentor junior BSAs on technical analysis, specification writing, and engineering collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and write code • Experience in large scale enterprise projects • Strong track record of Delivery & Execution, Systems Thinking & Process Mapping, Acceptance Criteria & Quality Ownership, Data Analysis & Insight Generation, Testing Strategy & Quality Assurance Partnership, System Architecture & Design Participation, Risk Identification & Process Improvement, and driving user adoption • Relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a preferred BS • 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, technical analysis, or a related field with demonstrated hands-on technical contribution • Proficiency working in databases for analysis • Experience writing scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Bash • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering collaboration tools • Experience with API design, integration patterns, and data modeling • Knowledge of testing frameworks, automated testing, and quality assurance methodologies • Experience with Agile methodologies and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or relevant technical platform certifications are preferred
