📋 Description

• Engage with stakeholders, primarily engineering groups, to research needs and formulate extensions to the workflow orchestration platform • Author and own detailed technical specifications covering system context, data flows, workflows, actions, acceptance criteria, and edge cases • Define and communicate technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer research, market analysis, and business objectives • Write prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and accelerate decision-making • Read existing code, understand how it works, and deploy changes • Partner with engineering as an embedded team member through design reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and pull request reviews for spec alignment • Define product metrics, design workflows, and independently extract and analyze data to drive prioritization • Translate technical complexity into clear narratives for business stakeholders and business context into actionable direction for engineers • Break large initiatives into shippable increments defined in specifications, ensuring consistent delivery cadence and early detection of scope or quality risks • Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform product direction and identify high-leverage opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and write code • Experience in customer research for a technical platform • Experience in rolling out large-scale workflow orchestration • Experience in large-scale enterprise projects • Strong track record of delivery and execution • Spec-driven product strategy and roadmap experience • Stakeholder communication and alignment • Data analysis and insight generation • Outcome ownership and value realization • Technical fluency and systems thinking • Customer and market insight • Cross-functional engineering partnership • Relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a preferred BS • 5+ years of experience in product management with demonstrated technical depth • Experience authoring technical specifications, working in codebases, or contributing to engineering workflows • Experience with spec-driven or design-doc-driven development processes • Code competency, including ability to read, understand, and review code • Familiarity with durable execution platforms such as Temporal • Familiarity with version control such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and pull request workflows • Experience with SaaS products, APIs, microservices, or platform products • Background in data analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban • Familiarity with delivery management tools such as Jira and Confluence
