• Provide research support • Analyze information sources • Produce reports to assist decision making and provide technical assistance for the client and research recipients • Analyze, evaluate, and provide expert advice and consultation on public health research and evaluation • Provide direction and guidance on critical and complex issues in the scientific area of responsibility • Perform complex qualitative and quantitative analytical studies and interpret results • Coordinate program evaluations and recommend improvements • Work with implementation-related measures and link implementation variables to outcomes • Analyze and integrate mixed-methods data • Make presentations, explain and justify recommendations, represent the agency and assigned program or project areas, provide guidance, advise program administrators and community members, respond to inquiries, and interact with high-level officials and public and private public health organizations • Support intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation • Use Microsoft Office Applications and manage administrative systems efficiently and effectively • Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Public Trust level • Experience using data analysis and reporting tools/platforms, including Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, Power BI, MAXQDA, and internal or government-specific databases/platforms such as the DPRP database • Knowledge of the principles, concepts, methods, and techniques of public health research and evaluation • Knowledge of principles, methods, applications, and state-of-the-art technology in the scientific area of responsibility • Ability to perform complex analytical studies using qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpret results • Experience working with implementation-related measures, including reach, fidelity, dose, and adaptation • Experience analyzing mixed-methods data and integrating qualitative and quantitative data • Ability to communicate orally and in writing and make clear, convincing presentations • Knowledge of rules, procedures, and principles governing intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation • Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint • Ability to use and manage Administrative Systems, including HUMAN SUBJECTS, OMB AND IRB, and E-Clearance • Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines • Bachelor’s degree • At least five (3) years of Public Health experience • Experience working in a scientific research setting • Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
