📋 Description

• Prepare attestation engagements according to established standards • Prepare agreed-upon procedures and audit reports • Collect and analyze data from renewable fuel production facilities to determine regulatory compliance • Maintain knowledge of EPA Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), West Coast Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), and regulatory changes • Validate pathways through the Renewable Fuels Standard Quality Assurance Program (QAP) • Research, interpret, and summarize new renewable fuels compliance regulations and programs • Perform attestation engagements to determine, document, and test operational-data compliance with regulatory standards • Research, evaluate, and summarize renewable fuel regulatory programs and standards • Assist with developing audit and verification programs for the renewable fuels industry • Participate in business development and cultivate client and firm relationships

🎯 Requirements

• A 2 or 4-year business, accounting, financial, management, or related field degree is preferred, but not required • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or renewable fuels preferred • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and other staff • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and effectively with a team • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word • Knowledge of the EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and West Coast Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST • Work authorization eligibility information required during application
