📋 Description

• Maintain equipment through troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance • Facilitate repairs as required • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations • Test new equipment as directed • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs • Use email and Circle K computer-related forms • Participate in training for existing and new equipment • Accomplish related results and Financial and Key Result Area targets according to Company plan guidelines • Increase professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies • Work across multiple locations between Mt. Vernon and Carbondale, Illinois • Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted • 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance construction field preferred • Experience in telecommunications preferred but not required • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces • Ability to use power and hand tools • Ability to crouch and/or crawl and use a ladder • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities • Ability to work independently in a high-priority, confidential, demanding business environment • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver • Computer literacy in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
