📋 Description

• Supervise a team within a shared service claims group, including: • Oversight of investigation and resolution of high-volume, low-severity commercial auto property damage claims • Ongoing coaching, development, and performance support • Training and onboarding of new team members • Ensure claim handling aligns with best practices and compliance requirements • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for the team • Manage quality control efforts, including file audits and compliance reviews • Identify and implement process and technology improvements to enhance claim assignment, workflow, and efficiency • Assist with monthly reporting and billing processes • Research and benchmark industry best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain an active inventory of claims across multiple jurisdictions, with volume dependent on team size • Investigate, evaluate, reserve, and resolve claims in accordance with best practices and compliance guidelines • Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, lienholders, agents, and vendors. • Operate efficiently across multiple claims handling systems and platforms to manage claim files, document activity, and ensure timely resolution. • Maintain strong relationships between the divisional points of contact and the shared service team • Support vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance and opportunities. • Promote collaboration across Corporate Claims and divisional partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience of commercial auto property damage claims. • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field or equivalent experience. • Strong knowledge of commercial auto claims processes, coverage, compliance, and best practices.
