📋 Description

• Write and edit video scripts, blog posts, social media copy, executive talking points, presentations, and internal/external communications • Maintain and evolve brand voice and style guidelines across teams and channels • Apply copywriting best practices and tailor content to audience behaviors and needs • Translate security, AI, networking, and infrastructure concepts into accessible language • Help create and maintain clear, consistent style guides • Partner with communications and marketing teams on executive visibility and corporate storytelling initiatives • Collaborate with designers, video producers, and subject matter experts across content formats • Review and edit contributors’ content for quality and voice consistency • Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines • Uphold Cisco’s guiding principles and brand voice in all communications

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in communications, media, or content roles • Experience writing for business or tech media highly desired • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability • Ability to persuade audiences to action and create authentic, captivating copy • Strong command of tone, voice, and editorial judgment • Ability to adapt writing style across channels and audiences while maintaining brand consistency • Proficiency in AI tools • Ability to use technology to reimagine processes and drive positive outcomes • Strong project management skills • Ability to balance concurrent projects • Knowledge of Cisco’s business, products, and culture is a plus • Ability to share a portfolio or writing samples
