📋 Description

• Lead content planning, writing, graphics ideation, peer reviews, and editing across proposal volumes and artifacts, including technical approaches, management, corporate experience, staffing, vendor-written Performance Work Statements, oral presentations, and technical challenges. • Collaborate with proposal, business development, capture, solutioning, and operations teams to remove blockers and develop compliant, responsive, compelling proposals. • Interview subject matter experts to extract technical information and distill it into clear, persuasive, differentiated narratives and graphic concepts. • Manage peer, cross-functional, executive, and external relationships to ensure consistent input, alignment, and buy-in to the proposal process. • Use AI in a disciplined and ethical manner to improve content quality while maintaining independent judgment and source verification. • Contribute to improving Oddball’s writing practice, proposal function, and broader Growth team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading proposal volumes for U.S. federal government clients across multi-phase and quick-turn efforts. • Exceptional writing skills and ability to sell complex technical concepts and value propositions to diverse buyer personas and stakeholders. • Familiarity with U.S. federal civilian and defense agencies; proposal-writing experience for VA, CMS, SEC, and DoW preferred. • Strong understanding of federal contracting, including FAR, contract vehicles, and the opportunity/business development lifecycle. • Fluency with government technology concepts including agile, human-centered design, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, and product management. • Ability to excel under deadline pressure and in collaborative cross-functional environments. • Communication and persuasion skills for SME interviews, peer feedback, and leadership presentations. • Intellectual curiosity about Oddball’s work and growth objectives. • Passion for improving the lives of people served by the company. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. • Certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance. • Bachelor’s degree.
