📋 Description

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Cyber Defense Operations Center • Ensure 24/7 monitoring and response to security incidents • Develop and implement strategies to improve CDOC effectiveness and efficiency • Oversee identification, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents • Lead incident response efforts to mitigate threats, minimize impact, and ensure swift recovery • Manage and optimize cybersecurity tools and technologies • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team • Provide training and professional development opportunities • Collaborate with IT, Business Continuity, risk management, legal, and other cross-functional teams • Communicate cybersecurity operations and incident updates to executive leadership • Manage Cyber Security contributions to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans • Evaluate and test cybersecurity controls for applications • Develop, enforce, and maintain security policies, procedures, measures, and mechanisms • Support system-wide programs, policies, and procedures for compliance with federal and state laws and agency regulations • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field; 3 years of additional experience may substitute for the minimum education requirement • Five (5) years of experience in information security in a large healthcare provider environment • Three (3) years of experience leading and managing a Cyber Defense Operations Center or similar information security operations team • Minimum span of control of at least eight members • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and incident response best practices • Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable • Master's degree preferred • Ability to work remotely within the United States
