📋 Description

• Own and drive temporary/seasonal recruitment cycles • Help set up new hires with equipment, systems access, and accounts including email, Slack, and Rippling • Serve as the first point of contact for basic IT and technical troubleshooting, escalating complex issues as needed • Assist with new-hire onboarding logistics, including sending offer letters, entering data, and scheduling training sessions • Support offboarding tasks, including asset retrieval and systems deactivation at the end of the season • Partner with the Operations team on process documentation, event support, and logistics projects • Respond to employee and vendor inquiries • Process state-specific onboarding requirements • Support employment verifications • Partner with the Operations team and CEO office on special projects • Maintain data integrity across HR and operations systems including Rippling, Asana, Lever, and Greenhouse • Report to the Director of People & Operations as an individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supporting operations, HR, IT, or administrative functions • Experience preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment • Exceptional organization and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively via Slack, Asana, and email • Ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines and scheduling across time zones • Comfort navigating fluid seasonal-hiring priorities • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding candidate and employee data • Ability to quickly learn and manage Operations and HR technical systems • Previous experience using Greenhouse and Rippling desired but not required • Previous work in or exposure to the political, progressive, or civic technology space desired but not required • Independent US work authorization required; Civitech cannot provide visa sponsorship • Must be able to work within Civitech’s current hiring footprint of 30 US states
