📋 Description

• Evaluate mortgage insurance claims and determine avoidable and unavoidable losses relative to claimed amounts • Identify opportunities to file supplemental claims while remaining compliant with HUD and other regulations • Determine the root cause for avoidable losses and analyze multiple types of data • Prepare Loss Analysis Reports outlining avoidable and unavoidable losses, causes, and client bill backs • Analyze information to identify and illustrate potential trends, service level risks, and regulatory risks • Review claim files to monitor for supplemental claim possibilities • Keep up to date with client-specific service requirements and revisions • Work with the leadership team under general direction • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with FHA claim types, including Part B-E, PFS, CWCOT, SFLS, and Supplementals • Knowledge of title process and title resolution • Knowledge of payments from HUD, interest calculations, and allowable amounts for claimable items • Ability to access and maneuver through HUD Clips, P260, DocuWare, and LockPath preferred • Strong skills in Microsoft Office platforms, including Word and Excel • Experience working with investors’ insurers, attorneys, banks, and servicers preferred • Experience in default servicing areas including foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, escrow, default cash, and cashier MSP preferred • Ability to handle high volumes of work while maintaining quality • Ability to meet specific goals and prioritize, organize, and accomplish work • Ability to adapt in the workplace • Ability to communicate professionally • Ability to accept and provide feedback effectively • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
