📋 Description

• Deliver data engineering initiatives supporting the customer-centric technology roadmap • Develop robust solutions for immediate and long-term business challenges • Ensure seamless platform integration with client environments • Develop conceptual designs, logical databases, taxonomies, data storage and capacity plans, external data interface specifications, data loading plans, data maintenance plans, and security policies for the data pipeline • Build and oversee technology architecture, solutions, and software for capturing, managing, storing, and using structured and unstructured data • Build processes to channel, route, and store data from multiple inputs using distributed cloud structures, local databases, and other storage forms • Develop tools and programming to cleanse, organize, transform, maintain, and update data structures and integrity automatically • Adhere to design standards and assurance processes for software, systems, applications, data connections, flows, and storage • Review business and product requirements and recommend system and storage changes • Facilitate technical requirements gathering and maintain consistent data architecture • Design and build solutions with cross-functional and senior stakeholders • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review/debug others' code • Oversee live SaaS operations and monitor KPIs for opportunities and threats • Develop features, understand customer requirements, and meet business goals • Ensure service reliability, availability, performance, and operational readiness • Implement secure, isolated multi-tenant systems • Solve technical problems involving security, parallel and distributed systems, programming, resource management, and large-scale system maintenance • Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, BI Developers, Quality Engineers, Product Management, Architects, and technical leads • Stay current with technologies and industry trends to drive platform innovation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Expertise in data architecture and business intelligence systems, including ELT development, data transformation, data modeling, report design/development, and BI dashboard design/development • Excellent programming skills with Python/Java • Strong relational database skills, including design, scalability, and SQL • Experience querying and extracting data from databases • Knowledge of ETL, data structures, metadata, and workflow management • Ability to solve complex data and technology problems • Excellent communication skills to narrate data-driven insights and technical approach • B.S. in computer science, engineering, or related degree • Experience with Agile software development, such as Scrum or Kanban • Experience in a fast-paced environment with enterprise-class software release experience and SaaS-based short, quick product life cycles • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset • Experience working with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment • Primarily remote work with occasional travel requirements • Preferred: Experience working in AWS • Preferred: Passion for Agile methodology • Preferred: Experience in healthcare • Preferred: Familiarity with HIPAA/SOC/HITRUST requirements
