📋 Description

• Lead the Tutor Operations team across tutor supply acquisition and retention, session reliability and quality, customer support, tutor community, and manual operations • Set ambitious goals, coach team members, provide direct feedback, and support individual growth • Drive top-line growth by shaping Tutor's growth strategy with Product • Bring frontline insights into roadmap decisions and staff launches with necessary operations support • Manage the supply side of the marketplace, ensuring the right mix of tutors across subjects, grades, time slots, languages, and locales • Improve customer support for families and tutors through speed, accuracy, automation, and reduced cost per contact • Prioritize team initiatives, protect capacity, and connect processes to business outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Strong record of people management and leadership • Experience leading operations at a tech company, ideally a marketplace business • Analytical ability to set measurable goals, analyze data, and prioritize effectively • Ownership of business outcomes, not just processes • Ability to challenge and sharpen senior leaders' thinking • Hands-on execution and use of AI to increase productivity • Significant hours overlap with one of the Americas time zones • Bonus: teaching, tutoring, or edtech experience • Bonus: experience scaling support or operations with automation and AI rather than headcount • Bonus: experience running operations for an international or new-market expansion
