📋 Description

• Act as the program's technical expert • Conduct desktop project verifications • Ensure Trade Ally adherence to program, Department of Energy, and applicable state standards • Ensure program designs reflect installation guidelines and measure minimums • Develop technical training materials and conduct training for internal and external participants • Serve as technical spokesperson to partner programs, clients, customers, contractors, and technical forums/boards • Approve technical communications and representation • Deliver Trade Ally guidance and training • Understand evaluation and project risks and develop and communicate strategies • Quality-control complex measure and modeling runs • Develop protocols for interpreting specifications, guidelines, manuals, and technical requirements • Provide building science adjustments to contractor measures • Assist in documenting observations regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products and services • Review documents for technical accuracy and sound building science practices • Attend and participate in required program meetings and training courses • Use building rating and energy modeling tools • Adapt to an ever-changing work environment and manage time and schedules

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience required (e.g. HVAC, electrical, residential construction, building maintenance, general contracting, etc.) • A strong knowledge of building science and building science applications is required • BPI Building Analyst Professional (BA-P) certification or the ability to obtain a BA-P certification within the first 60 days of employment is required • Excellent communication, organizational, mathematical, and documentation skills • Meticulous attention to detail • High school diploma • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
