• Lead enterprise IT sourcing and software procurement • Manage the strategic supplier software renewal cycle using a 12 month time fence for planning, quoting, negotiating, contract creation and implementation • Partner with IT in the establishment of a Software Steering Committee to vet new suppliers and standardize enterprise usage of IT's preferred vendors • Incorporate internally agreed upon KPIs and SLAs into supplier contracts • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs • Create Short and Long Term Commodity strategy • Mentor Procurement team members in areas of RFx creation, contract review, negotiations, and Procurement Best Practices
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred • 5-10 years of experience working in IT operations • Negotiation experience with large, complex renewals with SW providers such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday. • Ability to work cross functionally to create and implement standard processes and policies • Flexibility to navigate current state company operating procedures and collaboratively propose, plan and execute future state. • Project management experience desired • Ability to drive consensus • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills • Knowledge of levers available to delivery best possible price for new software • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
