📋 Description

• Drive successful execution of moderately complex projects from initiation through closure • Use standard tools and artifacts outlined in ITD’s PMO Project Playbook • Foster collaborative project team environments • Oversee project phases while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk constraints • Align technology teams, operational partners, and stakeholders on project scope and timelines • Address build and integration requirements, operational readiness, training needs, and cost-containment opportunities • Develop project charters and form cross-functional teams • Lead regular project team meetings • Define and manage project scope, success criteria, and stakeholder requirements • Develop work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource plans • Enforce structured change-control processes • Oversee day-to-day execution, milestones, schedules, and team interdependencies • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives • Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, and cost baselines • Analyze variances, manage changes, and implement corrective actions • Provide reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates • Build and manage budgets, forecast costs, and control expenses • Coordinate and optimize internal-team and vendor resource allocation • Identify and analyze risks and maintain risk and issue registers • Implement mitigation and contingency plans • Develop and execute stakeholder communication plans • Manage stakeholder expectations through updates, influence, and negotiation • Lead procurement, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships • Monitor vendor performance and service-level agreement alignment • Close projects, conduct lessons-learned sessions and stakeholder reviews • Finalize documentation and ensure smooth handoff or transition • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field • Additional project management experience may offset the degree requirement • Four years of project management experience • ITIL Foundations certification required within six months of position start date for Information Technology Division caregivers • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, or Certificate in Project Management from an accredited college • Preferred: Four years of experience managing IT construction projects in a healthcare setting • Knowledge of infrastructure, including server setup, structured cabling, data center setup, device and systems integration, and HIPAA compliance • Preferred: Four years of experience facilitating implementation of healthcare-related technology supporting patient care entities, patient care teams, or healthcare support functions • Ability to lead multiple technical teams through assessment, planning, and sequencing IT implementation work • Preferred: Two to three years of experience gathering requirements, planning, and orchestrating AI solution deployments • Experience partnering with application owners, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams • Experience deploying enterprise systems and processes • Ability to support mission-critical legacy applications and integrate them with enterprise systems • Experience provisioning applications to endpoints and end users using multiple technologies • Experience monitoring and documenting project progression and escalating gaps, risks, and issues using standardized tools and governance processes • Experience facilitating and documenting workflow analysis and requirements gathering • Ability to develop future-state workflows and resolve process gaps and risks • Experience supporting successful implementation and transition to ongoing support • Understanding of and relationship management with hospital operations • Experience harmonizing application deployment and operational readiness • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system • Ability to operate a computer and office equipment • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information • Must comply with the annual influenza prevention program or obtain an approved exemption
