📋 Description

• Perform monthly expense analysis and financial oversight for research activity within Cancer Research • Develop action plans for identified variances and issues in collaboration with principal investigators and research management • Support budget development, negotiation, and execution for new projects as a key member of the pre-award team • Invoice and reconcile research finances • Process patient payment reimbursements • Negotiate and execute contract budgets and business terms with external funding agencies • Maintain current knowledge of research, financial policies and applications • Monitor compliance with policy and report issues to the research management team • Provide ad hoc reports, reconciliations, and schedules for management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field • Five years of experience in Accounting • Practical understanding of accounting and month-end closing cycle • Exceptional experience with financial accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite • Must reside in Ohio, Florida or Nevada • Must comply with annual influenza vaccination program or obtain an approved exemption • Must complete controlled-substance testing following an offer of employment
