Climate United is a national public-private investment fund that removes financial barriers to clean energy projects so every American benefits from good-paying jobs, lower energy bills, domestic manufacturing, and cleaner air. The organization provides affordable, accessible financing for clean energy projects in communities often overlooked by traditional investing — including rural, Tribal, working-class, and low-income communities — and uses public capital to de-risk projects and attract private investment. Climate United was competitively awarded a contract by the Environmental Protection Agency under the National Clean Investment Fund program and focuses on financing American-made clean energy solutions such as rural solar, energy-efficient home retrofits, and electric drayage truck programs.

📋 Description

• Enter and manage AP transactions in Intacct accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Review and verify employee expense reports and timesheet coding for accuracy. • Assist in the preparation and assembly of invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is included. • Perform routine accounting tasks such as data entry and reconciliation of accounts. • Maintain organized records of financial transactions for audit and compliance purposes. • Support the accounting team in generating reports and financial statements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Relevant experience in basic accounting tasks, including AP processing, expense review, and invoicing. • Familiarity with Intacct accounting software or similar accounting systems is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office software. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions and documentation. • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and other stakeholders. • Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
