• Assist experienced Actuaries with day-to-day actuarial work in Life, Health, and Annuity spaces • Simplify and standardize valuation calculations • Work with actuarial software packages • Provide clear documentation and communication of technical work • Improve actuarial projections for pricing and valuation • Participate in networking, leader talks, career counseling, development opportunities, product and industry presentations, final presentations, and a volunteering event • Attend an in-person event at a corporate office during one week of the internship • Work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer
• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related discipline • Rising junior or rising senior status • Approximate graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029 • At least one passed Actuarial exam towards SOA designation • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone preferred, or willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States • No work visa sponsorship for this position or future full-time employment opportunities • Prior internship experience preferred • Balancing education and a part-time job during the school year preferred • Participation with university clubs preferred • Two or more passed exams towards SOA designation preferred
