📋 Description

• Work alongside experienced Cyber Security associates • Assist with professional Cyber Security day-to-day work • Spend time with Security Operations, Engineering, and Governance teams • Support enterprise cybersecurity operations and Security Operations Center functions • Support incident response and threat detection activities • Work in a collaborative enterprise IT environment • Participate in internship activities including networking, leader talks, career counseling, development opportunities, industry presentations, final presentations, and volunteering • Attend an in-person event at a corporate office during one week of the internship program

🎯 Requirements

• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline • Rising junior or rising senior, with approximate graduation dates of December 2027–June 2029 • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone preferred, or willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours • Basic understanding of information technology concepts, including networking and operating systems • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices • Ability to analyze information and identify patterns or anomalies • Strong organizational and documentation skills • Previous cybersecurity or information technology internship, work experience, or academic projects preferred • Familiarity with phishing, malware, endpoint security, authentication, and network security preferred • Experience with Python or PowerShell preferred • Participation in cybersecurity clubs, competitions, labs, or Capture-the-Flag (CTF) activities preferred • Pursuit of entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, or similar preferred • Must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States • Must be willing to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours if not located in those time zones
