📋 Description

• Build strong relationships with local business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations to help them protect what matters most • Leverage your network, business development mindset, and advisory expertise to deliver tailored commercial insurance and risk management solutions • Deliver proactive, advice-based service that strengthens client loyalty, retention, and drives long-term growth • Act as a visible and professional independent representative of Co-operators, strengthening the reputation and presence in the communities served

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a valid provincial general insurance license (or are willing to obtain one) and meet ongoing licensing and continuing education requirements • Have experience in commercial or personal lines insurance • Have experience running your own business • Have a background in financial services, banking, B2B sales, account management, or business development • Have worked in client-facing advisory or relationship-management roles where trust and credibility matter • Are a business owner, entrepreneur, or community-based sales professional who thrives on autonomy and long-term growth • A demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and convert them into sustainable business growth • A strong sales and business-development mindset, with comfort prospecting, networking, and creating opportunity • Clear, confident communication, strong organization, and disciplined follow-through • A client-first, advice-based approach grounded in helping businesses manage risk and succeed • Resilience, accountability, and self-motivation, with the drive to take ownership of your results
