📋 Description

• Process Fraud Detection cases with consistent, high-quality, courteous, and efficient service to Credit Union employees and members. • Place outbound calls and respond to inbound calls. • Monitor and work complex cases for credit and debit accounts to identify fraudulent activity and prevent potential high-dollar liability. • Use the Falcon Fraud Detection System to mitigate member and credit union losses. • Meet performance targets and requirements for agent advancement via career path. • Navigate tools and resources to address case inquiries. • Multi-task across various systems to mitigate cardholder and credit union losses. • Maintain a high level of service with members and meet performance targets. • Communicate trends and training opportunities to management. • Maintain composure and a calm, professional approach in difficult situations. • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with team members. • Promote and maintain a positive, professional image of Velera’s Call Centers. • Participate in classroom and on-the-job skills and procedure training and review manuals and resources to increase product knowledge. • Report identified risks to the appropriate team and/or management, including Information Security risks. • Support exceptional service to internal and external clients and Velera’s mission, values, and business objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum six months experience in a customer service or call center experience preferred. • Minimum of one year experience in fraud detection and/or fraud investigation preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Some post high school education desirable. • Basic Computer Skills using Word, Excel, Outlook. • Fraud Detection case processing application knowledge. • Knowledge of Main queue collection, Starstation, 3270, Springboard, Separate Entity, FTQ, VIP, and Travel Strat Queue. • Clear verbal communication, written communication, and reading comprehension in English. • Ability to accurately interpret information and demonstrate problem solving and analytical thinking skills. • Application of good judgment and decision making. • Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team. • Regular and reliable attendance. • Secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions. • Reliable private internet connection, not supplied by cellular data; cable or fiber preferred. • Internet speeds of at least 100 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload consistently. • Computer hardwired directly to modem via Ethernet cord. • Smart device with OS version 8.0 or greater, or Apple iOS version 15.0 or greater; device cannot be rooted or jailbroken. • This role is currently not eligible for sponsorship.
