📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle of multiple projects from initiation through deployment • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and the Coalfire team • Prepare detailed project plans for all project phases • Secure resources with Resource Deployment Managers to achieve project objectives on schedule • Collaborate with core consultants on day-to-day engagement activities and manage scope, budget, timelines, and change management • Align technology, operations, and business needs using project management best practices • Manage project expectations and risks while tracking deliverables • Monitor, track, and control action items, issues, conflicts, and dependencies • Escalate issues and follow them through resolution • Provide internal status reporting on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, actions, and summaries • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations • Lead client-facing and internal meetings, including status meetings, steering committees, standups, and cloud advisory board meetings • Work with matrixed employees to deliver customer service • Ensure projects and programs meet established quality standards • Apply Coalfire methodology and enforce project standards • Provide feedback on process changes and improvements • Drive accountability across internal and external project teams • Manage multiple initiatives and delegate tasks as needed • Perform other assigned duties and maintain company-defined billable utilization targets • Travel for client or internal work as needed, up to 20%

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of client-facing, direct project management experience required; internal-only project management experience cannot substitute • 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment required • Proven experience with large clients, complex projects, and executive-level interactions required • Proven excellence with customer service skills required • Understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies required • Excellence in client-facing and internal communication skills required • PMP, CSM, PgMP, or related project management certification • Ability to learn new tools quickly or experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and OpenAir • Leadership skills and ability to own project success • Ability to meet deliverables and commitments consistently • Ability to structure and lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders through the full project life cycle • Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Ability to provide full-time support to delivery teams based in the United States • Base-level understanding of FedRAMP, DoD, CMMC, ISO, SOC, or HITRUST compliance frameworks • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree plus equivalent experience in project management, business administration, or a related field • US citizenship required due to client contractual requirements • 2+ years of client-facing experience in a professional services industry preferred • Experience running sprint planning meetings, daily standups, and retrospectives preferred
