📋 Description

• Manage programming, planning, activation, and overall delivery of complex projects • Ensure projects remain in scope, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with objectives and government regulations • Act as liaison among clients, operational leaders, consultants, contractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, project teams, customers, stakeholders, and senior leadership • Conduct project intake, develop project teams, define objectives and scope, document processes, develop schedules, document risks and assumptions, and oversee workflows and implementation • Provide leadership and direction in client engagement, project development, strategic decision-making, scope, and deliverables • Lead large strategic and cross-functional improvement programs • Direct and manage project managers and project/senior project coordinators • Mentor project managers and project/senior project coordinators • Coordinate on project budget targets, status, and issue resolution • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and align project outcomes • Coordinate and complete concurrent projects of various sizes • Develop project plans, conduct kick-off meetings, track status, manage issues, risks, and escalations • Coordinate post-project reviews and lessons-learned meetings • Communicate project status, issues, risks, escalations, and required actions, including executive-level presentations • Prepare and maintain auditable project documents, cost estimates, reports, and budgets • Incorporate Lean practices and assist in developing policies, guidelines, and standards • Implement quality-control measures for compliance with department, hospital, university, and regulatory requirements • Conduct project-planning workshops and create project charters, schedules, deliverables, and critical paths

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university or applicable professional experience • 5 years of progressively responsible and related work experience required • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while meeting time sensitive deadlines • Ability to exercise judgment and demonstrate effectiveness in decision making occasions • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents • Ability to write reports using original or innovative techniques or style • Ability to identify issues, risks, and escalations, assemble data, validate conclusions and incorporate resolutions • Strong knowledge of medical and non-medical equipment, organizational programs and procedures • Basic experience with business case preparation and cost benefit analysis • Expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio) and Microsoft SharePoint • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera and another PPM software tool • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines • Strong interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills • Superior supervisory and matrix management skills • Advanced ability to identify, develop and quantify corrective action plans • Workshop design and facilitation experience
