📋 Description

• Oversee development, validation, and performance monitoring of credit risk models used for decision-making, risk management, and regulatory reporting • Provide oversight of CCBX Partner models • Apply statistical, econometric, and machine learning methods to loss forecasting, credit decisioning, and related use cases • Manage the model governance framework and control processes for model development, production, and validation • Assess model performance, conduct back testing, and make adjustments when necessary • Manage data integrity, data quality, and data management issues affecting model inputs and outputs • Develop and implement policies and procedures to monitor and validate credit risk models • Ensure credit modeling and data science activities align with the organization’s risk appetite and strategic goals • Communicate and present findings to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulators • Provide leadership during project planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up on action plans • Perform the physical and office-equipment duties required for the role, including extended computer use

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in credit risk modeling, model development, validation, model risk management, or forecasting techniques • Proven experience with credit risk modeling for Expected Loss (EL) using PD, LGD, and EAD modeling framework • Experience in modeling oversight, governance, or validation within banking, financial services, or consulting • Deep expertise with machine learning, data science, and statistical techniques for credit loss forecasting models • Experience with CECL modeling, implementation, and production of quantitative and qualitative components • Prior experience with machine learning, data science, and statistical modeling • Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, SQL, or other modeling and data analysis platforms • Strong business knowledge of consumer credit, including credit cards, personal loans, and unsecured lending • Strong understanding of CECL, stress testing, loss forecasting, and macroeconomic scenario analysis • Familiarity with Basel III, IFRS 9, CCAR, Dodd-Frank, and other regulatory frameworks • Prior experience with regulatory stress testing models such as CCAR/DFAST or impairment models such as IFRS 9 • Strong communication and presentation skills for interaction with senior management, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders • Ability to work without employment sponsorship
