📋 Description

• Develop and maintain expert understanding of cardiothoracic and general surgery concepts, subspecialties, Arthrex products and procedures, and supporting science • Articulate and demonstrate clinical concepts and procedures to Arthrex employees, business partner representatives, and healthcare professional customers through online and digital asset production • Create online educational content for healthcare professionals, students, and patients • Create educational content for Arthrex representative training in a learning management system • Provide clinical input for digital platform design in collaboration with Medical Education Technology and Clinical teams • Review written and digital materials for clinical accuracy • Facilitate and maintain the pipeline of educational asset needs using multiple software platforms and interactions with Medical Education Clinical teams • Support the review and creation of digital educational assets for in-person medical education courses

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the bio-medical sciences or related fields required • Certification as physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse first assistant required • 3 years of surgical experience in cardiothoracic and/or general surgery or a major subspecialty required • OR 1 year of experience employed as an Arthrex clinical content specialist associate required • Knowledge of standard principles of cardiothoracic and/or general surgery required • Significant knowledge of anatomy from a cardiothoracic and/or general surgery standpoint required • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud programs required • Knowledge of basic digital/video creation and editing principles • Ability to create digital assets demonstrating basic surgical skills education/training with supervision and direction • Experience as a physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse first assistant in relevant surgical work preferred • Experience in laparoscopic/endoscopic procedures • Ability to organize and develop digital training materials • General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables • Command of PCs, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Office, and communications equipment as needed
