⢠Establish and continuously improve Code for America's delivery methodology, including project management standards, tools, templates, playbooks, and governance frameworks ⢠Set strategic priorities for delivery infrastructure investment and make tradeoffs between standardization and project-specific flexibility ⢠Design and maintain protocols for the full project lifecycle, including cultivation handoffs, project kickoff, team onboarding, scope revisions, and project close-out ⢠Collaborate with product operations on common processes across product and advisory work ⢠Own and administer delivery tooling such as Asana and Airtable, including configuration and portfolio visibility ⢠Maintain a library of delivery templates, guides, and playbooks ⢠Identify and integrate AI tools into delivery workflows ⢠Support project leaders with day-to-day delivery standards and course correction ⢠Roll out training, tools, resources, and onboarding support across program teams ⢠Drive adoption through change management and address resistance proactively ⢠Design feedback loops through quality assurance reviews, retrospectives, and structured check-ins ⢠Identify recurring risks, scope issues, and handoff breakdowns and translate them into guidance and coaching ⢠Support scope revision processes and partner with leaders across disciplines ⢠Partner with Partnerships to ensure smooth cultivation-to-delivery handoffs ⢠Assess and improve governance, reporting, check-ins, and communication processes ⢠Track adoption of delivery standards and flag gaps ⢠Support Program Directors with project reviews and escalations ⢠Partner with senior program leadership to align delivery operations with organizational strategy ⢠Anticipate systemic portfolio challenges and develop root-cause solutions ⢠Engage in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
⢠8+ years of experience in project management, delivery operations, or a PMO function ⢠Ideally experience within digital services, consulting, government, or a related civic technology organization ⢠Demonstrated experience designing and implementing delivery frameworks, standards, or playbooks ⢠Ability to set priorities across a delivery domain and communicate standardization tradeoffs to senior stakeholders ⢠Strong coaching and change management skills, with a track record of driving adoption of new practices ⢠Ability to learn fast, act with conviction, and remain open to feedback ⢠Experience facilitating project kickoffs and structuring handoff processes between teams or functions ⢠Deep familiarity with project and delivery management tools such as Asana, Airtable, Jira, or Smartsheet, including configuration and adoption support ⢠Experience identifying and integrating AI tools into delivery or project management workflows responsibly ⢠Experience supporting a portfolio of concurrent projects and identifying systemic delivery risks ⢠Comfort working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment ⢠Experience navigating scope changes, escalations, and shifting partner expectations in complex, multi-stakeholder projects ⢠Curiosity about emerging AI tools and commitment to using them responsibly ⢠Deep commitment to Code for America's mission ⢠Experience with civic tech, government services, or public sector delivery contexts is a bonus ⢠Familiarity with human-centered design or agile delivery methodologies is a bonus ⢠Experience building delivery operations functions from scratch is a bonus ⢠Background working with government partners is a bonus ⢠Experience developing training curricula or facilitating communities of practice is a bonus
