• Partner with business stakeholders and the internal Engineering team to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Create release notes and maintain project and implementation documentation, requirements artifacts, process flows, and user guides • Ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Support the Product Manager/Product Owner in managing the product backlog • Help ensure delivered functionality meets documented business requirements • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions aligned with modernization objectives • Complete new hire orientation training and meet external counterparts and stakeholders • Meet with federal partners, leads, and internal cross-functional peers to understand pain points and expectations • Become familiar with recurring processes, workflows, and stakeholder/business requirements • Take ownership of documentation, process guides, and user guides • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria • Identify learning and development opportunities and establish a professional development plan • Operate as a fully integrated team member with full responsibility and accountability for role functions
• Full-time resident of the contiguous United States • Must be legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship • Ability to pass a Public Trust background check and any applicable background and/or security checks related to project requirements • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Business/Product/Systems Analyst role • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience • Experience defining data and business process requirements • Ability to break down large, complex problems into actionable, testable steps • Understanding of the principles, theories, and concepts of Agile software development life cycle • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, written and verbal and/or with the use of assistive tech as needed • Strong technical writing skills • Excellent time management and organization skills • Ability to adapt effectively to changing timelines and requirements • Current or prior employment within the last 6 months with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) strongly preferred • Prior professional services or federal govcon experience • Experience using JIRA or other project management tracking tools • Experience in data analytics is a plus
