📋 Description

• Lead negotiations with specialty pharmacy and other data partners to align inbound and outbound file specifications with the Ascend data model • Review data specifications for completeness, field-level accuracy, and model alignment; document and resolve gaps • Negotiate field mappings, list-of-values, file formats, and delivery cadences • Validate test files against finalized specifications and maintain spec versions and sign-off status • Translate data partner constraints into configuration, spec exception, or Customer Engineering decisions • Own platform configuration, data mapping, configuration tooling, business logic implementation, and front-end reporting setup • Load data into the pipeline after specifications are finalized and approved • Collaborate with Customer Engineering on standard data model onboarding and custom build handoffs • Conduct internal QA before partner- or client-facing testing; provide BA sign-off before UAT • Track and resolve configuration defects identified during QA and UAT • Perform quality control to ensure configuration and data quality meet go-live acceptance criteria • Develop and maintain QA documentation, test frameworks, checklists, UAT templates, data dictionaries, and file inventories • Identify and route non-standard requests to Product or Customer Engineering; conduct change impact analysis • Coordinate with Engagement Managers and Delivery Directors on specifications, blueprints, testing timelines, UAT scheduling, blockers, capacity, and escalations • Support UAT business validation for configuration-related questions • Facilitate schema normalization and document business requirements, operating procedures, issue resolution processes, and platform configurations • Develop an operating playbook and training procedures; train other Business Analysts as the team scales

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university • 2+ years of relevant experience in an operations role at a biopharmaceutical manufacturer, reimbursement call center, specialty pharmacy, or data management company • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytic tools, including data comparison, conditional formulas, data summary, and conversion • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Background and experience with the Business Analysis toolkit, including systems development lifecycles, problem solving and root cause analysis methods, and documenting business process models • Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables across multiple concurrent implementations or client programs • Ability to lead data partner spec negotiations across multiple external partners simultaneously • Excellent written and oral communication for technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple tasks with rigorous attention to detail • Deep knowledge of data management in specialty biotech and/or operations in reimbursement call centers or specialty pharmacies • Familiarity with healthcare data sources, including transactional, clinical, behavioral, and specialty pharmacy data file types • Understanding of UAT facilitation, defect triage, QA gating, and go-live readiness • Ability to exercise judgment in configuration decisions • Preferred: experience with specialty pharmacy data file specifications, SFTP workflows, and data onboarding processes • Preferred: academic training in public health, business administration, and/or operations research • Preferred: case management experience in a reimbursement call center or specialty pharmacy • Preferred: familiarity with Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, Google Docs, workflow diagram tools, web-based software systems, and relational databases • Preferred: experience within a structured RACI model or implementation team framework • Cover letter required with application
