📋 Description

• Lead design strategy and execution across Coinbase One membership, CB1 Card, and the broader Loyalty surface area across multiple product and engineering pods • Develop a team of product designers through structured coaching, career development, and regular design critiques • Partner with senior Product and Engineering leads to shape roadmaps, drive alignment, and represent design in leadership forums • Drive 0-to-1 strategic design work for membership evolution, retention mechanics, and rewards experiences • Maintain a high quality bar across Loyalty surfaces through design critiques, DRRs, and workbench sessions • Represent Loyalty design in executive-level reviews and cross-functional leadership syncs • Own design strategy and team leadership for the Loyalty pillar within Coinbase's Financial Services & Loyalty team

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience • Proven track record leading design for subscription, loyalty, or membership products at scale with 1M+ users • Experience partnering with senior product and engineering leaders to shape strategy, define roadmaps, and influence prioritization • Ability to set systems-level vision while shipping high-quality work on weekly or biweekly cadences • Experience managing individual-contributor designers through structured feedback loops, promotion cycles, and measurable career growth outcomes • Familiarity with consumer fintech, payments, or credit card product design • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable workflow, cost, and quality improvements
