📋 Description

• Preserve and improve the quality and validity of AP Spanish Language and Spanish Literature exams, curricula, and professional development content • Lead assessment development and final approval of items and test forms across multiple course titles • Author, revise, review, and manage formative and summative assessment content and scoring materials • Use generative AI appropriately in assessment creation and review • Lead assessment development meetings with Test Development Committees • Train and supervise committee members and subject-matter experts • Lead annual AP Reading scoring events in person and online • Produce AP Reading publications for teachers and students • Monitor exam validity, security, reliability, fairness, quality, and reader reliability • Collaborate with psychometrics staff to establish fair, reliable, and valid cut scores • Provide functional leadership, training, and mentoring to Course Experts • Improve item-development task models, exam design, and assessment processes • Refine the AP Spanish Language and Spanish Literature Course Framework • Support development and market testing of new AP Spanish Language and Spanish Literature products • Collaborate across AP teams and engage with educators, academics, technical experts, and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, or a directly related discipline (required) • Native to near-native fluency in Spanish (required for World Language) • Expertise in Spanish Language or Spanish Literature • At least 10 years of experience in standardized assessment development or related work • Experience with digital assessment and teaching preferred • Strong oral and written communication skills • Solid technical proficiency and customer-focused mindset • Excellent organizational and planning skills, including proofreading and attention to detail • Ability to implement processes and procedures, manage project plans and schedules, and maintain tracking documentation • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills • Ability to travel 6–8 times per year, plus up to two additional weeks for the AP Reading • Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States • Passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and willingness to adopt AI-driven solutions • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills • Learner’s mindset and commitment to growth • Drive for impact and excellence, including data-informed decision-making • Collaborative and empathetic approach
