📋 Description

• Own the Governance and Compliance pillar of College Board's Workforce Identity and Access Management team • Plan and forecast annual Okta review cycles • Design, configure, launch, monitor, and close access reviews, account reviews, and security attestations • Run annual user access reviews from scoping and reviewer assignment through remediation, closure, and auditor reporting • Fulfill internal and external auditor evidence requests • Verify review requirements and data before launch • Maintain job guides and documentation for review cycles • Partner with Security, Risk, Audit, Technology, business, and AI governance teams • Keep WIAM practices aligned with College Board information security policy • Integrate AI agent identities into the IGA platform with owners, lifecycle states, and reviewable access • Define AI agent ownership and lifecycle accountability models • Govern AI agent access and build attestation flows • Perform identity engineering across onboarding, offboarding, access requests, applications, integrations, vaults, and automations • Direct and review governance work carried out by other engineers • Establish account ownership and lifecycle states across human, service, workload, and API identities • Enforce least privilege and track exceptions • Monitor and correct differences between approved and actual entitlements • Automate enforcement and evidence with Okta Workflows and platform APIs • Measure controls against NIST and propose improvements • Report on control enforcement with traceable data • Analyze access and entitlement data for troubleshooting, audits, and continuous improvement • Participate in the identity platform on-call rotation and follow escalation procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of identity and access management and/or security engineering experience • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta • Experience designing and running access reviews, certifications, or attestation campaigns at scale • Experience with scoping, reviewer assignment, remediation, closure, and auditor evidence delivery • Working knowledge of NIST and similar policy and compliance frameworks • Hands-on production experience with Okta Identity Governance and Okta Workflows • Experience with agentic AI governance, including owners, lifecycle states, and certifiable access • Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, role- and attribute-based access control, SSO, MFA, and least privilege • Secure-by-design mindset and ability to verify actual system state and trace data to source records • Strong written communication skills and ability to explain identity controls to non-specialists • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer • Passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills • Learner's mindset and commitment to growth • Collaborative and empathetic approach • Preferred: IT auditing or GRC experience • Preferred: Enterprise security certifications or recent coursework, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or Okta certifications • Preferred: Working understanding of defense in depth
