📋 Description

• Plan and lead IT project teams to successful delivery • Facilitate Agile practices, coordinate work, and ensure adherence to IT project management standards and delivery expectations • Run and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • Organize workstream teams efficiently and ensure adherence to Agile practices and team commitments • Assist with backlog maintenance, prioritization, and documentation • Develop and maintain team standards, tools, and best practices aligned with PMO and enterprise delivery frameworks • Contribute to strategic IT project roadmaps and programs through delivery input, sequencing recommendations, and capacity insights • Support visual communication and creative communication activities for stakeholder understanding, transparency, and team alignment • Manage assigned project financials, resource assignment and allocation, milestone and delivery tracking boards, communications, and key performance metrics • Prepare status reports for leadership and governance bodies • Develop IT project scope-of-work documents and project plans, including objectives, assumptions, dependencies, cost/benefit analysis, project charters, measurable outcomes, and risks • Assist with change management and organizational knowledge building related to Agile and Scrum • Support Agile adoption, readiness, and continuous learning at the team level • Promote continuous improvement and learn new tools and techniques • Administer Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence, for scalable and governed collaboration and workflow management • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Agile approaches, including Kanban and Scrum, with hands-on experience applying Agile practices within delivery teams • Thorough knowledge and experience with Agile techniques, such as user stories, backlog refinement, continuous integration, automated testing, and iterative delivery • Previous experience in project work, either as a project manager, scrum master and/or key contributor, with a strong understanding of project management fundamentals and delivery best practice • Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) administration experience • Ability to effectively communicate and manage project expectations to leaders, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders at the team and project level, in both written and verbal communications • Understanding of other processes and methodologies and ability to selectively apply appropriate techniques • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams or competing priorities • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional, matrixed team environment • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies and tools • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred • 3-5+ years of project, Agile, or delivery management experience • Project Management certification (PMP) preferred • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred • 1-2+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master role for a software development team preferred • Experience in the Commercial P&C Insurance industry or other regulated environments preferred • Strong presentation skills preferred • Strong visual and creative communication skills, including use of dashboards, boards, or visual artifacts preferred
