📋 Description

• Schedule appointments for medical procedures based on physician availability, patient preferences, and medical facility resources • Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide necessary information, and address any questions or concerns • Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for physicians, medical staff, and facilities • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that all necessary equipment and resources are available for scheduled procedures • Monitor and manage cancellations and rescheduling requests, ensuring that all changes are communicated and documented appropriately • Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations for procedures as needed • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred • Previous experience as a medical scheduler or in a similar role preferred • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
