📋 Description

• Set design strategy across the full customer journey, including physical unboxing, mobile app, web dashboard, and agentic AI voice check-ins • Own outcomes beyond first activation, including adoption of AI check-in calls, call forwarding, spam blocking, call monitoring, and safety features • Partner with growth and PLG-focused teams on adoption impact and customer value metrics • Continuously learn post-launch and improve launched designs • Create full working prototypes quickly using modern AI development tools • Present prototypes to the team, customers in the ICP, and the CEO • Build a shared component language across the app, dashboard, AI, and sound interface • Establish research and testing practices, especially with lower-tech-literacy and senior users • Create documentation enabling non-designers to make sound small decisions independently • Act as a strategic partner to leadership in roadmap and prioritization decisions • Report directly to the Founder CEO

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience • Meaningful senior ownership at a company operating at real scale, such as $20M+ ARR, multiple interconnected products or surfaces, and an active PLG or self-serve growth motion • Demonstrated design leadership and strategic influence • Experience improving onboarding and activation for a complex, multi-surface product • World class UI, UX, and user research skills • Excellent taste • Ability to operate as the entire design function, setting priorities against company goals and communicating decisions clearly to non-design stakeholders • Ability to establish a high level of trust with product engineers • Fluency with modern AI development tools and ability to create full working mockups quickly • Nice to have: experience designing hardware unboxing or physical + digital product setup • Nice to have: experience with caregiving, eldercare, accessibility-focused, or health-adjacent consumer products • Nice to have: prior experience as an early/founding designer and later at a scaled company • Portfolio with at least one case study demonstrating strategic thinking and experience navigating product or organizational complexity
