📋 Description
• Conduct telemedicine evaluations and assessments of patients with acute and chronic pain • Prescribe, manage, and refill pain medications as clinically appropriate and within applicable regulations • Develop and adjust individualized pain management and medication treatment plans based on patient response • Monitor medication effectiveness, adherence, side effects, and potential risks • Document assessments, diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment plans, and follow-up care • Collaborate with physicians as needed
🎯 Requirements
• Active California NP or PA license • Active DEA license/registration • Experience in pain management and/or prescribing pain medications preferred • Experience managing acute or chronic pain patients preferred • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills • Comfortable providing patient care through telemedicine
