📋 Description

• Provide virtual urgent and primary care telemedicine services to members in the US Virgin Islands • Conduct virtual medical assessments, examinations, histories, diagnoses, and treatment • Provide care for prevention, acute care, chronic disease management for ages 3+, and adult sexual health • Conduct patient encounters through video visits, phone visits, and secure messaging • Discuss diagnoses and treatment risks and benefits with patients • Ensure appropriate follow-up care • Provide health promotion, wellness, and patient education • Coordinate care with Virgin Islands-licensed healthcare professionals, physicians, care teams, health coaches, specialists, and ancillary services • Document visits, treatment plans, referrals, and communications in the EHR • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams • Act as a clinical resource and mentor for clinicians or telehealth support staff as applicable • Stay current with clinical guidelines, telehealth practices, digital health innovations, and relevant legislation • Comply with professional, regulatory, organizational quality, and patient-safety standards • Adhere to telehealth, prescribing, scope-of-practice, referral-management, and patient-safety policies

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine • Previous experience delivering telehealth services • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) • Current, unencumbered, and unrestricted license in the United States, US and VI or USV and United States (if possible) • Availability to conduct visits during routine business hours, with flexibility for weekends and evenings as needed • Experience with remote patient monitoring technologies, digital health platforms, and asynchronous telehealth workflows preferred • High-speed internet and secure workspace required • Must adhere to telehealth best practices, maintain patient privacy, and manage remote workflows effectively • Maintain credentials, licenses, certifications, and required continuing education
