📋 Description

• Provide virtual urgent and primary care telemedicine services to members in the US Virgin Islands • Conduct virtual medical assessments, exams, histories, diagnoses, and treatment • Conduct patient encounters through video visits, phone visits, and secure messaging • Coordinate with patients’ Virgin Islands-licensed healthcare professionals, physicians, care teams, specialists, health coaches, and ancillary services • Provide prevention, acute care, chronic disease management for ages 3+, and adult sexual health care • Provide health promotion, wellness, immunization, screening, lifestyle-modification, and patient education • Ensure appropriate follow-up care and manage referrals • Document visits, treatment plans, referrals, and communications in the electronic health record • Adhere to platform guidelines, telehealth, prescribing, scope-of-practice, referral-management, patient-safety, privacy, and organizational policies • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care • Act as a clinical resource and mentor for clinicians or telehealth support staff as applicable • Stay current with clinical guidelines, telehealth practices, digital health innovations, and regulatory changes • Maintain compliant patient documentation, credentials, licenses, certifications, and continuing education

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine • Previous experience delivering telehealth services • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) • Current, unencumbered, and unrestricted license in the United States and US Virgin Islands • Availability during routine business hours, with flexibility for weekends and evenings as needed • Experience using online tools and technology to deliver virtual communication and care • High-speed internet and secure workspace • Compliance with telehealth best practices, patient privacy, and remote workflows • Preferred: experience with remote patient monitoring technologies, digital health platforms, and asynchronous telehealth workflows
