📋 Description

• Conduct initiating visits, including psychiatric diagnostic evaluations (CPT 90791) or E/M visits, via telehealth for patients entering PIN-PS programs • Establish diagnosis, medical necessity, and the plan of care supporting navigation services • Document each visit in the EHR within 48 hours to clean, billable standards • Obtain and document patient consent to navigation services where required • Serve as billing practitioner of record for enrolled patients • Provide general supervision of certified peer support specialists furnishing navigation incident to the practitioner's services • Furnish clinically indicated and mutually agreed follow-up visits • Cooperate with quality, audit, and payer-compliance activities • Remain available as supervising clinician while peer specialists deliver ongoing navigation

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted APRN/NP licensure in one or more of Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York • National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) • Physician collaboration, supervision, or protocol arrangement required by the relevant state • Active NPI • Eligibility to enroll with and reassign benefits to the professional entities for Medicare and Medicaid • Never excluded from any federal or state health care program • Comfort with telehealth care for adults with serious behavioral health conditions • Appreciation for peer support as part of the care team • Subject to credentialing, exclusion screening, and payer enrollment
