Compound Eye is a machine-vision company that combines artificial intelligence with classical computer vision to give machines human-like perception with greater precision. Their VIDAS platform delivers tens of millions of depth measurements per second without LiDAR or radar, provides per-pixel scene understanding (object labels and free space), and supports position tracking when GPS is unreliable. Compound Eye targets applications across defense (including multiple Direct to Phase 2 SBIR awards), heavy equipment teleoperation and autonomy, and automotive programs that need LiDAR-like range and accuracy at lower cost and complexity.
