The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Manage instructional programs for high school physical science courses, including Earth and Space Science • Consult regularly with learning coaches and students by telephone, Internet, and curriculum tools • Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences promptly • Support instruction through asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction • Review curriculum and devise alternate lesson presentation approaches • Develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules • Score assessments, provide feedback, suggest instructional strategies, monitor assignments, and coach special projects • Collaborate with teachers to support student progress and coordinate responsibilities • Develop broad knowledge of the K–12 curriculum and detailed knowledge of assigned courses • Provide additional assistance with assignments and projects • Maintain regular communication with parents, students, curriculum specialists, teachers, and staff learning specialists • Keep student records and data current, including cumulative files, online information, attendance, and contact logs • Develop enrichment activities and modifications to student programs • Coordinate social activities and relevant student field trips • Manage regional field trips and integrate them into the curriculum • Develop virtual methods to create and maintain a school community • Participate in state testing organization and administration • Participate in student recruiting sessions and marketing efforts • Coordinate with Advisory Teachers and the School Counselor regarding communications, progress, and goals • Attend field trips and community activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Secondary Science or Physical Science License Required • Highly qualified and certified to teach Physical Science appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities • Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Customer-focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Track record as a team player • Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, potentially including overnight travel • Ability to work remotely, if necessary • Ability to work occasional evening hours as needed to support families • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
