It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Manage instructional programs for middle school mathematics students • Consult regularly with learning coaches and students using telephone, Internet, and curriculum tools • Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences • Support asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction • Review curriculum and devise alternate lesson approaches to improve student understanding • Develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules • Score assessments, provide feedback, suggest instructional strategies, monitor assignments, and coach special projects • Collaborate with teachers to support student progress and coordinate responsibilities • Develop broad knowledge of the K-12 curriculum and detailed knowledge of assigned courses • Provide alternate strategies and additional assistance with assignments and projects • Maintain current student records and data, including attendance and contact logs • Develop enrichment activities and program modifications with teachers and learning specialists • Coordinate social activities and relevant student field trips • Manage regional field trips and integrate them into the curriculum • Create and maintain a virtual school community • Participate in state testing organization and administration • Participate in student recruiting sessions and marketing efforts requiring teacher representation • Coordinate with Advisory Teachers and School Counselor regarding family communications, student progress, and goals • Attend field trips and community activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach Middle School Mathematics in New Mexico • Secondary 6-12 license or K-8 license with math endorsement • Strong technology skills, especially Microsoft OS and MS Office programs • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Customer-focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Team-player track record • Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, potentially including overnight travel • Ability to work remotely • Ability to work occasional evening hours as needed to support families • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
